Graduation dinner (6/11)

To celebrate his graduation (I'm calling it what it is) he wanted to go to Applebees. We invited Mimi and Poppop along. It was a very nice dinner but getting there another story. As it seems almost every typical summer afternoon in the south we got a thunderstorm. Well let's just say the bottom fell out just as we were leaving the house. We drove down to the restaurant and almost floated away in all the water that was falling. We had to sit in the truck to wait for the rain to let up. Even if Chuck would have dropped us at the door we would have been soaking wet from the 20 foot walk. But it let and and we got in and got a nice table.
